Abstract
In [5], a concurrency control of the distributed database system by the cautious scheduler was proposed where the time stamp also is issued by the distributed algorithm. By contrast, this paper proposes a new concurrency control, assuming a central clock site issuing the time stamp. Compared with the previous method, the features of the present method are that the communication requires fewer messages and is simple. For typical faults, methods of remedy are discussed.
