โœฆ Synopsis

we have developed an object-oriented framework based on Distributed Artificial Intelligence principles for the modelling of man-resource interaction. We study the case of the Niger inland delta fishery and try to contribute to the knowledge synthesis of a multidisciplinary research team. In this paper, we present an implementation of an Object Oriented Modelling simulation of the "fishing-up process," comparing various object interaction hypotheses. We then discuss the problem of validation and the advantages of Object Oriented Modelling for the management of natural resources.

## Abstract Estimation of channel seepage is an essential task in improving the management of earthen channel systems. The spatial distribution of seepage rates along the channels must be quantified to establish the economic and environmental merit of reducing conveyance losses. In Australia, due t
