Ion translational energy spectrometry has been applied to study unimolecular and collision-induced dissociation of dications of the SH radical. Experimentally determined values of the kinetic energy released upon dissociation are satisfactorily correlated with results of high-level ab initio calculations of potential en'eqy curves of the ground and low-lying excited electronic states of SH2+ ions. Quantum-chemical methods in which conf%uration interaction effects are accounted for via the coupled-cluster ap proach are employed.

## Translational energy spectrometry measurements have been made on Hei ions resulting from 3 keV double-electron capture collisions between He: and Ns. The endoergic energy defect for this reaction is measured to be 43 eV. Potential energy curves have been computed for He: (X Ix+), HeF(Z\*) and
