✦ Synopsis

The dissociation energy of SrO (Do = 4.88?":'5 o 03 eV) MS obtained by detcrmining the threshold for its appearance when crossing a thermal beam of Sr atoms with a supersonic, nearly monoenergetic 02 beam at relative collisional energies from 0.1 to 0.8 eV.

The breakdown diagrams and photoionization efficiency curves of isomeric chlorobutane ions were obtained by energy-selected molecular ions with the photoelectron-photoion coincidence (PEPICO) technique. The loss of HCI from 1-and 2-chlorobutane molecular ions was found to be fast, and accurate disso

A new approach is described for obtaining absolute electron-impact cross sections for ionization, including the partial cross sections for multiple charge excitation and ion dissociation. The method benefits from the use of a supersonic molecular beam, pulsed ion source, and multichannel mass detect

Relative differential and integral cross sections for scattering of fluorine atoms by hydrogen bromide and hydrogen iodide have been measured at collision energies from 5 to 175 meV. Treating the experimental data in terms of a single potential of the Lennard-Jones type, we have evaluated the well d
