โฆ Synopsis
Bundles of nerve fibers invade the early regenerating limb of the adult newt Triturus. These fibers are unmyelinated and are only partly enveloped by accompanying Schwann cells. Isolated fibers make intimate contact with mesenchymatous cells. The fine structure of such contact regions suggests possibk functional nerve terminations.
