✦ Synopsis

Using the accurate Voigt profile we obtained by Fourier transform method and the Taylor series, we obtain a simple relationship of the FWHM of the Voigt profile with the Gaussian and Lorentzian profiles. The curves of the relationship of the FWHM of the three profiles are drawn. Though further discussion, we find the relationship of the ratio of the FWHM of Voigt profile with Gaussian profile and that of Lorentzian profile and Gaussian profile is one-fourth ellipse. This method is convenient and accurate for actual application using the Voigt profile.
