β¦ Synopsis
An investigation of sampled estimators as an alternative to continuous-time Kalman filters and smoothers reveals the importance of a pre-sampler filter, the optimal sample rate for smoothers, the small number of lags required to approach ideal i~nite-lag smoothing, and the much lower sample rate acceptable for smoothing compared with filtering.

Al~traet--The problem of the representation of continuous time systems by difference equations is studied. A solution is proposed using a sample integration technique. The convolution integrals are approximated by digital filters resulting in an arbitrary high accuracy in a wide frequency band.
This paper derives the formulae for an exact discrete time representation corresponding to a system of higher-order stochastic differential equations. The formulae are applicable in stationary, non-stationary and explosive systems and for data observed as a mixture of both stock and flow variables.
In this paper, we build a central limit theorem for triangular arrays of sequences which satisfy a mild mixing condition. This result allows us to study asymptotic normality of density kernel estimators for some classes of continuous and discrete time processes.
In this paper, the statistical cyclostationary characteristics of a controlled continuous-time system which result as a consequence of implementing a digital controller are investigated. A minimax quadratic cost function which takes into account the periodic nature of the statistics is defined and o
