Abstract

We describe the efficient and accurate numerical solution of propagation problems in composite and dual‐composite right/left‐handed metamaterials using a discrete diffraction formula based on lattice Green's functions. For both metamaterials and for physically realizable parameters, we find that the observed diffraction patterns depend strongly on the temporal input frequency. Β© 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
