Explicit predictor}multicorrector time discontinuous Galerkin (TDG) methods developed for linear structural dynamics are formulated and implemented in a form suitable for arbitrary non-linear analysis of structural dynamics problems. The formulation is intended to inherit the accuracy properties of

This paper focuses on the formulation and implementation of explicit predictor} multicorrector Time Discontinuous Galerkin methods for linear structural dynamics. The formulation of the schemes is based on piecewise linear functions in time that approximate displacements and momenta. Both the predic
## Abstract In this paper, we review the development of local discontinuous Galerkin methods for elliptic problems. We explain the derivation of these methods and present the corresponding error estimates; we also mention how to couple them with standard conforming finite element methods. Numerical
