Mehrere Disciseda-Kollektionen aus der Magdeburger Börde (Deutschland, Land Sachsen-Anhalt) unterscheiden sich beträchtlich von den bisher in Europa bekannten Sippen D. bovista, D. candida und D. arida. Die Arten D. pila (tropisches Amerika) und D. cervina (Paläo-und Neotropis) stehen der Art nahe, die wir als Disciseda nigra sp. nova bezeichnen.

Disciseda nigra -an unrecognized Gasteromycet Some collections of a Disciseda sp. from the region "Magdeburger Börde" (Germany, County Saxonia-Anhalt) are different from the European species D. bovista, D. candida and D. arida by the macroscopic and microscopic features. Disciseda pila (tropical America) and D. cervina (tropical Asia and tropical America) have a similarity to the new species which we describe as Disciseda nigra sp. nova.
