✦ Synopsis

"Disappearance" is a suspenseful thriller of a hunt for a girl who disappears without a trace. Karen Glass, an American high school graduate, is visiting a Kibbutz in Northen Israel. She meets Mikki who lives in the Kibbutz and they become involved. On a tour of the Golan heights she suddenly disappears from Mikki's car. The police investigation is abandoned under questionable circumstances; the motive for the kidnappimg is unknown and Karen's fate remains a mystery. Three years later, a photo of Karen at the time of her kidnapping is found by an Israeli military unit during a raid into Southern Lebanon. Mikki, and Karen's sister Lisa, begin a journey across three continentts to uncover the mystery. They find that Karen's fate is tangled with a dark family secret concealing a conspiracy of a global enterprise covering its borderline legal interests.
