β¦ Synopsis
A novel approach to synthesize carbon nanofibers (CNFs) directly on the surface of metal lm-sized particles to evenly disperse the carbon nanomaterials in a composite material was proposed. As a metal matrix, 5-10 lm copper particles were utilized. As a carbon source, C 2 H 2 , CH 4 and CO were examined. The best conditions were found to be in C 2 H 2 (30 cm 3 /min) and H 2 (260 cm 3 /min) atmosphere at the temperature of 750 Β°C. The composites based on copper and CNFs prepared by vacuum hot pressing showed the increase in hardness from 35 to 60 kg/mm 2 almost retaining pure copper electrical properties.

## Abstract Carbon nanofibers (CNFs) are grown by catalytic CO disproportionation over ultrafine Fe~3~O~4~ catalyst at a hydrogen concentration of 0β29.17%, and the timeβdepending rates of CNFs growth are continuously monitored and the morphologies of the asβsynthesized CNFs are analyzed. Increasin
A novel composite material, i.e, titanium silicate-1 (TS-1) supported on carbon nanofiber (CNF), TS-1/CNF, is synthesized through in situ crystallization and XRD, FTIR, SEM and HRTEM/EDS analyses are conducted to characterize its structure and morphology. In the initial stage of crystallization, amo
