## Abstract Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) can fail to revascularize peripheral arteries when a chronic total occlusion (CTO) cannot be crossed by guidewires. This article describes application of a new controlled blunt microdissection (CMD) catheter designed to cross CTOs. Two men pre
