Behaviors of the intrinsic localized modes (ILMs) in inhomogeneous nonlinear lattice with quartic anharmonicity have been investigated numerically. Numerically generated ILM is introduced into lattices with a single mass impurity or random mass inhomogeneity and its evolutions are pursued. In case o
