โฆ Synopsis
Rcccivrd 22 July 19S5 Fluoroethylcycloheplalnene hss been irradiated by pulses lrom 3 TEA CO, loser. During ond nrtrr the pulses, the hot UV nbsorption 13 Ihe exciuzd molecules WLLS monitored. AL very low gas pressures, lime-resolved obsrrvalion of rhc KIN of unimolecular isomcrization of the excited molecules was possible By adding collision partners, s1cpwise collisional dwclivnlion of excited molecules WLLS also observed. By analysis of the lmnsient spectra the intm-nnd in~r-mol~wk~r dynamics ol the sxciwd molecules was found 10 be quan[iraGvely consiswnr with dam rrom single-photon excilation experiments. The dcpendencr of the obsewed dynamics on the laser fluence is demonstrated.
