## Abstract Living lymphocytes of the Elasmobranch fish, __Raja naevus__, have been examined for surface immunoglobulin (Ig) by treatment with a fluorescent antiβIg system. Large numbers of Igβpositive cells (60β80%) were found in peripheral blood, spleen and thymus. Following modulation of the sur
