✦ Synopsis

An analysis, utilizing the scattering m&x, of all-pass waveguide equalizer networks G presented. The amplitude and tim delay characteristics of one port, directcoupled, commensurate waveguide resonator networks are determined via a recurrence relation derived for the reflection coefiient. The theoretical effect of nonuniform dissipation loss is discussed briefly. Experimental results indicate good agreement between theory and practice.

## Abstract A novel four‐pole bandpass filter design based on a coupled folded‐waveguide (FWG) resonator structure is presented. A full‐wave simulator has been employed for designing the filter and extracting the related coupling coefficient of each resonator pair. The proposed filter circuit desig

The fundamental concept of coupled-resonator optical waveguides (CROWs) is for the first time taken a step farther to propose the more complicated case of coupled-resonator directional couplers, by analyzing the phenomenon of propagation in two parallel chains of microring resonators. Using the meth
