โœฆ Synopsis

The direct capture of volatiles emitted by living plants and their analysis by capillary gas chromatography (CGC) is discussed. Preliminary results are presented on the construction of a sampling assembly, on the possibilites of open traps (very thick film FSOT column) to capture the volatiles and on the desorption using a single or a double oven GC instrument.
