✦ Synopsis


The dipole moments and polarizabilities of NH3 and ND3 were determined separately many years ago by De Bruyne and Smyth [l].

Plotting the total molar polarization of each gas against reciprocal temperature in a conventional Debye plot over the renge 0 -150Β°C, they obtained:

The microwave spectrum of \(\left(\mathrm{CF}_{3}\right)_{3} \mathrm{CCCH}\) has been recorded on the NIST Fourier-transform microwave spectrometer.
