β¦ Synopsis
An rf-pulse sequence has been developed for homonuclear Hartmann-Hahn cross-polarization by dipolar interactions under magic-angle spinning. The dipolar mixing sequence suppresses isotropic and anisotropic chemical shifts and recovers the homonuclear dipolar interactions. The sequence consists of spin-echo and magic-echo sequences which are applied during the first and second halves of 2x sample rotations, respectively. Experimental and numerical results for the magnetization transfer by the sequence are shown for powdered glycine enriched with carbon-13 nuclei.
