✦ Synopsis
Dipolar eeaoclatlon of complexes of 3-W-, 3-L&-, 2,4,6-(L&)3-pyridinea with trifluoroacetic acid in benzene rolution m lnveetlgated by vapour preesure oemometry. !Che practical molal o-tic coefficient and activity coefficient were determined. The non-ideal behaviour of the investi.E;ated complexaa i8 interpreted an the basis of self-aerrociated model with one equilibrium conetant. Values of K were found to be 0.63~110, 4.69M.40, and 7.52AO.22 kg.m~l-' for 3-b, 3-i&-, end 2,4,6-(Xe)3-pyridine complexes, re8pectively. The correlation of log K v8 AUKS is diecu88ed. The characteristic feature of liquids end 8olutions is aeaociation. The formation of such associated species can be promoted by (i) hydrogen bonda, (ii)
