✦ Synopsis
The residue was extracted with Et,O (50 nil) to give a suspension of the red solid product in Et,O. The product was then filtered off and dried in vacuo (31 Yo). Recrystallization of the powder from Et,O:pyridine (90.10) yielded red crystals suitable for X-ray diffraction. Elemental analysis calcd for C,,H,,MnN,O,:
