Infrared absorption spectra of the four common isotopic forms of the transient molecule BBr ( 11 B 79 Br, 11 B 81 Br, 10 B 79 Br, and 10 B 81 Br) have been observed in natural abundance. The spectra were detected in the region between 650 and 720 cm Ϫ1 using diode laser spectroscopy of a BBr 3 /He a

✦ Synopsis
Twenty lines in the fundamental vibration-rotation band of the PH radical in its ground 3Z-state have been measured using infrared diode laser spectroscopy. Analysis of the spectrum yields rotation, spin-rotation and spin-spin parameters for the v = 1 level The band origin lies at 2276.2106 (29) cm -1 . No splitting due to nuclear hyperfine structure was detectable.
