A dual-wavelength continuous wave (CW) diodepumped Nd:YAB laser that generates simultaneous laser action at the wavelengths 1062 and 1338 nm is demonstrated. A total output power of 278 mW at the two fundamental wavelengths was achieved at the absorbed pump power of 9.8 W. Furthermore, generation of

✦ Synopsis
We report for the first time a coherent orange radiation at 600 nm by intracavity sum-frequency generation of the 1085 and 1342 nm laser-lines of two Nd:YVO 4 lasers. Orange laser is obtained by using a doubly linear resonator, type-II critical phase matching KTiOPO4 (KTP) crystal sum-frequency mixing. With a total diode pump power of 29.5 W (18 W pump power for 1085 nm Nd:YVO 4 laser and 11.5 W pump power for 1342 nm Nd:YVO 4 laser), TEM 00 mode orange laser at 600 nm of 1.06 W is obtained. The power stability in 30 min is better than 2.8%.

We present a laser architecture to obtain continuouswave (CW) light sources at the 589 nm sodium D2 line. A 808 nm diode-pumped a Nd:YLiF 4 (Nd:YLF) crystal emitting at 1053 nm. A part of the pump power was then absorbed by the Nd:YLF crystal. The remaining was used to pump a Nd:YAG crystal emitting
