✦ Synopsis
One-dimensional heteronuclear NOE difference spectroscopy was used to assign 'H and =C NMR spectra of dinuclear fulvalene complexes with tungsten and molybdenum. It was found that metal-metal bonded complexes show ' H chemical shifts which are the inverse of those in non-metal-metal bonded complexes, whereas the relative =C chemical shifts are not affected by the metal-metal bond.
