The association constants for different conglomerates are calculated for the dimethyl/nhexane and dimethyl/carbon tetracMoride systems at 253 K from a new infrared spectra method. The thermodynamics functions are calculated for these systems and checked with vapour pressure measurements as well as the kind of polymers formed.
