## Abstract Nitrosoalkane dimers react with acid halides to yield α‐halogeno‐azoxy compounds with the substituent Ξ± to the oxygen‐bearing nitrogen. In the presence of silver carbonate, the corresponding α‐acyloxy‐azoxy compounds are formed.
