The structure of the title compound, C 8 H 20 N +. C 6 H 2 N 3 O 7 À , consists of discrete diisopropylethylammonium cations and picrate anions. The protonated N atom of the cation forms a hydrogen bond to the phenol O atom of the picrate anion.
