text is not incredibly thourough or rigorous. Introduces some concepts like FFT without explaining them fully, leaving that for later sections. If buying for a class you've not much choice, if buying for reference or personal study I'd look elsewhere.

✦ Synopsis
;Digital Signal Processing using MATLAB and Wavelets НАУКА и УЧЕБА,ТЕХНИКА Название: Digital Signal Processing Using MATLAB Автор: Ingle V.K., Proakis J.G. Издательство: PWS Год: 1997 Страниц: 336 Формат: djvu Размер: 8.0 Mb Язык: английский Аннотация.This book does exactly what it purports to do - it teaches the reader how to perform signal processing tasks using Matlab. It starts out with signals and systems and moves on to the DTFT, the Z Transform, the DFT, digital filter structures including both IIR and FIR design, and finally covers some advanced topics in adaptive signal processing and communications. It even contains full-blown projects using Matlab on adaptive channel equalization, binary spread spectrum communications, and system identification. The reader should use another text such as Oppenheim's "Discrete Time Signal Processing" to get the theory, and come to this book on how to implement that theory in Matlab. The one drawback is that the book is older, so it is using Matlab 4. Uploading.com 0
