We define analogues of higher derivatives for F q -linear functions over the field of formal Laurent series with coefficients in F q . β¦ Synopsis
We study certain classes of equations for F q -linear functions which are the natural function field counterparts of linear ordinary differential equations. It is shown that, in contrast to both classical and p-adic cases, formal power series solutions have positive radii of convergence near a singular point of an equation. Algebraic properties of the ring of F q -linear differential operators are also studied.

## Abstract In this paper, we extend the study on instability in [11] to autonomous functional differential equations with infinite delay by means of LiapunovβRazumikhin techniques, and to nonautonomous functional differential equations with finite or infinite delay via limiting equations. Examples
## dedicated to professor junji kato for his 60th birthday We deal with the inhomogeneous linear periodic equation with infinite delay of the form dxΓdt=Ax(t)+B(t, x t )+F(t), where A is the generator of a C 0 -semigroup on a Banach space. Assuming that it has a bounded solution, we obtain several
There are occasions when a linear autonomous functional differential equation of mixed type can be reduced to a neutral or retarded equation. A necessary condition for such reducibility is shown to be that the set of solutions of the characteristic equation is bounded on the right in the complex pla
