✦ Synopsis

The change of source characteristics during the transition from the impulsive phase to the post-burst phase is investigated for cm bursts on a statistical basis. The results are the following:

(1) The sudden decrease of the circular polarization degree is found almost invariably at the transition; typically from 20-30% down to a few percent. (2) Some bursts show remarkable source expansions in the post-burst phase. There are no cases in which impulsive bursts have larger source size than the associated post-burst increases. (3) Type III bursts which are indicative of non-thermal phenomena are associated with the impulsive phase but not with the post-burst phase. Implications of these observed results are discussed.

We survey here the observational results on five gradual and four impulsive type events from the hard X-ray imaging (SXT) and spectrometer (HXM) instruments on the Hinotori satellite. A set of differences are clearly recognized between the gradual and impulsive type bursts. These are: (i) Hard X-ray

In the present paper we report the results of a correlation analysis for 57 microwave impulsive bursts observed at six frequencies in which we have obtained a regression line between the peak frequency and the corresponding rise time of microwave impulsive bursts: fp~ 1.517 x 101~ TM (with a correla

The free-pool sizes of amino acids involved in photorespiratory metabolism have been determined in leaves of Moricandia species during the post-illumination CO2 burst. The kinetics of the burst and the time to attainment of steady-state rates of dark respiration were much slower in the C3-C4 interme
