## Abstract The influence of medium composition on basal and insulinโ€stimulated glycogenesis was studied in cultured 17โ€dayโ€old rat fetal hepatocytes, which contain no glycogen at the time of transplantation. Continuousโ€labeling ^14^Cโ€glucose experiments were used to determine both glycogen content

## Abstract The effect of insulin on glucose entry has been studied in monolayer cultures of human diploid fibroblastic cells. Influence of insulin on total cell glucose incorporation was evaluated using [^14^C] glucose. Glucose incorporation was increased up to twoโ€fold in the presence of insulin.
