✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The dielectric increments of homologous series of bromides, fatty and dicarboxylic acids in different solvents are measured. The possibility of calculating the dipole moments is examined. It is necessary to apply corrections which depend on the volume of the solute molecules and on their geometric form as well. The possibility of determining these corrections is discussed.
