The dielectric absorption in 1-phenyl-propyl-bromide, l-phenyl-propylmercaptan and l-phenyl-propyl-amine in the liquid state has been studied at different microwave frequencies. The dielectric data were analysed in terms of molecular and end-group CH2X relaxation time (X = Br, SH and NH2) and their

β¦ Synopsis
Dielectric permittivities,s',and dielectric losses.c",at four microwave frequencies have been measured for 1,3-dichloro-1,3-dibromo and 1-chloro-3bromo-2-methyl propanes in the liquid state. The activation energies, AHr and AH n' and the dipole moment in all the three cases have been determined. The dielectric behaviour of these and other similar molecules have been compared.
