✦ Synopsis
A broadband (five decades of frequency) study of the dielectric properties of unsaturated polyester chains/styrene systems has been carried out between 50Hz and 5MHz (T = 252 K). An analytical deconvolution of dispersion and absorption is performed, thus allowing an accurate separation of the various contributions. Taking into account the structure of the compounds and the dependence of the dielectric response upon chemical composition, a general correlation in terms of elementary microscopic motions is proposed.
