✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The wave‐vector dependent dielectric function for LiCl, LiBr, LiI, NaCl, NaBr, Nal, KCl, KBr, and KI is calculated using a model originally proposed by Fry. An approximate analytical expression for the screened Coulomb potential is also given.
