In this animal study we investigated the absorption of free fatty acids and triglycerides after gastrectomy. The levels of the hormones cholecystokinin and secretin were measured in response to a controlled enteral fat load (Lipofundin 20% MCT emulsion). We studied fat absorption in three groups of
