✦ Synopsis

  1. The condensation of dichloropyromellitic acid dianhydride (I) with substituted anilines (0-, $-chloro-, $-fluoro) gave new derivates of dianilino-pyromellitic acid di-phenylimide (11, VI, VII).

  2. The condensation of dichloropyromellitic acid di-methylimide (IX) or of compound I with ethylamine yielded 1,4-di-ethylamino-pyromellitic acid di-ethylimide (X) .
