Die erste Stufe der basenkatalysierten Anlagerung von Propylenoxyd an Phenol wird untersucht. Dabei ergibt sich ein dem Bthylenoxyd analoger, komplexer Reaktionsverlauf. Die Additionsreaktion ist von Assoziaten bestimmt und verlliuft nach einem zusammengesetzten Reaktionsmechanismus. Die entsprechenden Geschwindigkeitskonstanten werden bestimmt.

SUMMARY:

The initial step of the addition reaction of propylene oxide OP phenol, catalysed by bases was studied. The reaction mechanism evaluated from experiments is analogous to the addition of ethylene oxide to phenol, and follows no simple kinetic scheme, due to the formation of assoziations of the reactants. The rate constants of the reaction are obtained from kinetic datas.
