✦ Synopsis
In the USA, Dichtomatik North America, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Freudenberg-NOK, has broadened its range of sealing products and enhanced its capabilities with the acquisition of Transcom Inc of Burnsville, Minnesota, and Nu-Seals Inc of San Luis Obispo, California.
Claimed to be one of the largest and strongest European suppliers of non-branded, generic and standard catalogued O-rings, oil seals and fluid product seals, Dichtomatik says that the move will strengthen its position in the North American market place. It will obtain Transcom's comprehensive line of oil seals in North America and Nu-Seals' high-quality fluid power products and custom-moulded shapes, as well as its brand line of O-rings and oil seals.
These businesses will join forces with existing Dichtomatik O-ring custom moulded shape businesses located in Purcellville, Virginia and Plymouth, Michigan.
