✦ Synopsis
In the title compound, [ZnCl~2~(C~12~H~17~N~3~O~3~)], a mononuclear Schiff base zinc(II) complex, the Zn atom is tetrahedrally coordinated by one imine N atom and one phenolate O-atom of the Schiff base ligand and by two terminal chloride anions. In the crystal structure, symmetry-related molecules are linked through intermolecular N—H...Cl, N—H...O and C—H...Cl hydrogen bonds, forming chains running parallel to the b axis.
