## Abstract Two new cyclic β€˜diarylheptanoids’, myricananone (**1**) and myricananadiol (**2**), were isolated from the roots of __Myrica nana__, together with the known compounds myricanol (**3**), myricanone (**4**), and porson (**5**). Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods, in
