✦ Synopsis

A highly efficient and convenient method for the selective titanation of 1,3-butadiynes using Ti(O i Pr) 4 / n BuLi reagent has been developed. The method provided a facile synthesis of enynes and trans-enynols in a well-stereodefined manner.
