β¦ Synopsis
The introduction of quantum field theory methods has led to a kind of βrevolutionβ in condensed matter theory. This resulted in the increased importance of Feynman diagrams or diagram technique. It has now become imperative for professionals in condensed matter theory to have a thorough knowledge of this method.
There are many good books that cover the general aspects of diagrammatic methods. At the same time, there has been a rising need for books that describe calculations and methodical βknow howβ of specific problems for beginners in graduate and postgraduate courses. This unique collection of lectures addresses this need.
The aim of these lectures is to demonstrate the application of the diagram technique to different problems of condensed matter theory. Some of these problems are not βfinallyβ solved. But the development of results from any section of this book may serve as a starting point for a serious theoretical study.

This research monograph offers an introduction to advanced quantum field theoretical techniques for many-particle systems beyond perturbation theory. Several schemes for resummation of the Feynman diagrams are described. The resulting approximations are especially well suited for strongly correlated

The aim of this book is to introduce a graduate student to selected concepts in condensed matter physics for which the language of field theory is ideally suited. The examples considered in this book are those of superfluidity for weakly interacting bosons, collinear magnetism, and superconductivity
This book explores quantum field theory using the Feynman functional and diagrammatic techniques as foundations to apply Quantum Field Theory to a broad range of topics in physics. This book will be of interest not only to condensed matter physicists but physicists in a range of disciplines as the
