✦ Synopsis

We compared the performances of two different fat suppression T2-weighted fast spin echo sequences and demonstrated that T2-weighted CMR has high specificity but overall low sensitivity for detection of myocardial injury. More robust CMR techniques are needed for the detection of acute myocardial injury.
