Aneurysms of the vein of Galen are uncommon but life-threatening conditions. In the past, these arteriovenous malformations were diagnosed by invasive means, usually cerebral angiography , or were found at postmortem e~amination.l-~ This report demonstrates that aneurysm of the vein of Galen is easily diagnosed by cerebral sonography .
