## Abstract Incubation of rabbit erythrocytes with ^32^Pi resulted in labeling of membrane diphosphoinositide, triphosphoinositide, and phosphatidic acid. Hypotonic lysis at 37ยฐC resulted in an extremely rapid breakdown of the labeled polyphosphoinositides. This breakdown could be retarded by lysis
