✦ Synopsis

The paper is to present the new DSP-based device shown in the wake of hitherto development of power quality instrumentation for power quality assessment in ship systems. The motivation of the research is presented and problems of power quality assessment in ship systems is discussed. The basic features of the new power quality estimator-analyser are described. Further, the design of its new commercial, expanded version is shown and discussed.
