✦ Synopsis
For different RSCs particle-size analysis, compressive strengths (20°C, 5°C, mortars) and porosity data (20°C, hardened cement paste, mercury intrusion method) are shown and explained. Measurements were taken for three commercial RSCs and one commercial portland cement (PC). Data of cements made of one RSC-clinker (rotary kiln, industrial plant) are given. In the laboratory the clinker was milled in a ball mill and also in a jet mill, each to finenesses of 5000 and 6~00 cm2/g acc. to BLAINE. One cement (ball milled; 5000 cm=/g acc. to BLAINE) is mixed with a cement kiln filter dust (i, 3, 5 wt.-% added), containing a considerable amount of K20. Two chemically similar cements made of laboratory clinker are described. One of them was burnt also with the cement kiln filter dust (i, 3, 5 wt.-% added) in the raw mix.
