✦ Synopsis

A-et-A new apparatus for electro-flotation has been developd by using the imp&r of stirred tank as electrode(s). Tbe principle of this apparatus reported is that the gas bubbles generated by electrolysis float the floes while flocculation is promoted by the rotation of electrode(s). The collection efficiency of this apparatus for tap water containing blue ink of IO-W/m3 in concentration has beep discussed by using various electrode(s) and changing the rotation speed of the electrode(s).

## Abstract Particle‐bubble collisions in bubble swarm systems have been modelled based on previous work on single bubble systems and bubbly flow characterization. This approach relates the overall collision probability to bubble and particle sizes, gas holdup, column height, and other operating pa
